How did you come up with the song, Pizza Angel?

LARRY: It was actually one of those things where I had ordered a pizza, and I was waiting, and waiting, and waiting. And I thought as long as I was going to wait, I might as well write a song. Kind of like "I Love my Lips." I wrote that one while I was on jury duty.

BOB: When did you write the hair brush song?

LARRY: When I was waiting for you to give me back my hair brush.

BOB: Oh. Sorry.

Veggie Tales Producers Tim and Kurt talk about their work on Pizza Angel.

TIM: Well, if Larry was going to sing a song like that, it had to be about something dear to his heart. And, besides cheeseburgers, that's gotta be pizza. And so, Pizza Angel was born.

KURT: Tim had a great concept for the song. Great lyrics. But we wanted to add some emotion to it. But it wasn't until we added the guitar work, that we really said, "Oh, yeah, that's the sound!"

Singer Chrissy Conway of ZOEgirl went to a concert where a singer from one of her favorite groups talked about knowing Jesus Christ. That's when her life changed. Chrissy says, "I didn't have to think twice whether I wanted to accept Jesus. I had never really felt the power of the Holy Spirit before."

Soon after that, Chrissy began attending a church, and growing as a Christian. She still had a dream to maker her living as a singer. One day she prayed about what God wanted her to do, and the rest is history: "I asked God to help me figure out what to do...and then the phone call came about ZOEgirl." Now, Chrissy, with Kristin and Alisa, travel the world, singing about living for Jesus, as ZOEgirl.
